Job Description

Role Summary:

As the Interim Development CEO, you will have the unique opportunity to lead and shape BSPHN’s strategic direction. This role is pivotal for driving growth, securing new income streams, and elevating our profile within the behavioural science and public health sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute our strategic plan to enhance the organisation’s mission and profile.

• Cultivate business and fundraising initiatives to secure essential funding.

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring effective resource management.

• Manage financial planning and uphold fiscal accountability.

• Engage with donors, partners, and key stakeholders to build valuable relationships.

• Inspire and motivate the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Requirements:

Essential Skills:

• Executive leadership with a strong background in strategic planning and fundraising.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Proven ability to drive innovation within a behavioural science or public health context.

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with Python and SQL.

• Proficiency in creating presentations using PowerPoint or Canva.

Education & Experience:

• Relevant postgraduate qualifications.

• Demonstrated executive leadership experience, especially within behavioural science or public health.
