How it runs

Live workshop

Tuesday 10am-4pm (UK time)
Each week of the bootcamp
Held on Google Meets and Miro

Use these to:

  • Build your strategy step by step on your own live project.

  • Learn by doing with guided exercises, not long lectures.

  • Test your work in hot seats and get real-time critique.

  • See how others apply the tools across brand, product, experience, and change.

  • Leave each week with a concrete artefact you can use immediately.

Group coaching

Thursday 2pm-3pm (UK time)
Weeks 2 and 4
Held on Google Meets

Use these to:

  • Go deeper on the theory behind the tools.

  • Get feedback on your artefacts-in-progress.

  • Ask the questions we didn’t cover in the main sessions.

  • Unblock challenges from your live project.

  • Learn from peers tackling similar problems.

Build a behavioural strategy week by week

WEEK 1 OF 4 • Tue 10:00-16:00 GMT

Name the behaviour

Most goals stay fuzzy because the key behaviour isn’t named. This week you’ll surface observable behaviours, test them fast, and lock the one that matters.

FRAMING DISCOVERY

You’ll learn

  • How to turn “increase X” into one behaviour at one moment you can design for

  • How and where to collect credible evidence in minutes

  • How to write a defensible Behavioural Problem Statement

You’ll leave with

  • A Behavioural Problem Statement (WHO/DO/WHEN + blocker)

  • A keystone behaviour anchored to quick artefacts

WEEK 2 OF 4 • Tue 10:00-16:00 GMT

Force Focus

Behaviour is shaped by a lot of things. We've broken it down to make it easier. Exploring the 3 layers: the person, their peers, and the system around them. We’ll map those drivers, weigh impact × ease, and commit to one lever (plus what to ignore for now) so momentum starts.

DISCOVERY RESEARCH

You’ll learn

  • How to spot the real shapers of behaviour

  • How to choose one high-impact lever you can control

  • How to set a simple “do now / do later” boundary

  • How to anchor your lever to specific touchpoints you can act on

You’ll leave with

  • A Driver Snapshot (chosen lever + deprioritised items) and how to use them in your specific job roles.

WEEK 3 OF 4 • Tue 10:00-16:00 GMT

Design for messy reality

Plans fall apart when they depend on things you can’t control. Especially when it comes to people's behaviour. Map what you can’t change, rely on, and can change. Give each action an owner + schedule.

DESIGN IMPLMENTATION

You’ll learn

  • How to design for the setting you actually have

  • How to turn your lever into 1–3 shippable actions with clear ownership and metrics

  • How to prevent stalls with tripwires and fallbacks

You’ll leave with

  • A focused Setting Map (1–3 priority actions, owners, metrics, cadence)

WEEK 4 OF 4 • Tue 10:00-16:00 GMT

Prove it early(er)

Big KPIs move slowly. Behaviours move first. This week we'll get you up to show progress before the headline numbers change. By pairing lead signals (early signs a behaviour is happening) and lag signals (the KPI that follows).

DISCOVERY RESEARCH

You’ll learn

  • How to design early proof with lead signals that move before the KPI

  • How to set clear thresholds and responses so teams know what to do, when

  • How to communicate your strategy as a one-page decision, not a slide deck

You’ll leave with

  • A Signals Dashboard (3–6 tiles with thresholds and rules)

  • A Behavioural Strategy One-Pager ready for stakeholders

Each week is split into 4 parts:

  1. Walkthrough: We show the move and when to use it best.

  2. Guided build: You apply it to your own project.

  3. Hot seats: Peer to peer feedback sessions.

  4. Finish: You leave with a usable artefact.

Who it’s for

Brand strategist

Own a distinctive behaviour your brand can reliably create.

Experience / service strategists

Find the keystone micro-action that unblocks your journey metric.

Product strategists & designers

Define the first meaningful action and default the product to it.

Change managers & change-makers

Turn intent into a weekly ritual teams actually do with Trigger → Act → Adapt rules and early proof sponsors will fund.

Who's teaching the bootcamp?

Hey there, I'm Lauren Kelly, a behavioural designer and strategist with over a decade of experience. Yeah, that’s a pretty long time for such a young field!

Over the years, I've had the incredible opportunity to work with some big names you'll recognise, as well as with purpose-driven startups doing amazing things at my behavioural consultancy Alterkind.

I've also taught behavioural design at three different universities. And taught design and change teams at companies like Accenture, Meta, PwC and more. Along the way, I created BehaviourKit, a toolkit now used in over 12 countries. Just like the industry, it's matured and evolved over time, and so have I. It's fair to say I know a lot about behavioural strategy. And love teaching it in equal measure.

I’ve done a lot of behavioural science courses, but this one stands out.

The Behaviour Strategy Bootcamp combines structure, tools, and real-world application like no other.

Lauren is a brilliant facilitator who brings the theories to life with her experience. I left with confidence and tools I’m already using.
