License Agreement
Welcome to BehaviourKit. This Licence Agreement sets out how you can use our downloadable templates, decks, and resources.
We're here to help you apply behavioural insights effectively to design, business and research.
Definitions
"Personal Licence": This licence is for one person. You can use our materials for your own projects, either for learning or work.
"Team Licence": This is for groups working together in the same company. It allows your team to use our materials together for any project you're collaborating on.
"Materials": Anything you download from BehaviourKit, like templates and decks, that helps with your projects.
"Modification": If you change or tweak our materials for your use, that's a modification.
“BehaviourKit”: A product by and trading name of Behav Ltd.
“Behaviour Thinking”: Behaviour Thinking is a registered trademark of Behav Ltd in the United Kingdom.
Additional Licensed Tools and Trademark
You are granted the right to use the registered trademark "Behaviour Thinking" and the following tools from the Strategic Behavioural Design course:
Behaviour Change Pathways Canvas
Behaviour Research Planner
Insight Tactics
Influence Tactics
Behaviour Change Strategy Matrix
Behavioural Problem Framing
The Theory of Behaviour Change Canvas
These tools are covered by a non-transferable, commercial licence. You can modify them for your commercial projects, but you cannot resell or redistribute the original or modified tools. All derivatives remain the intellectual property of BehaviourKit.
Scope of Licence
With a Personal Licence, you can use our materials on any personal project, in Miro, or print them for your own use.
The Team Licence lets your whole team use our materials. You can share them within your team, use them in group sessions on platforms like Miro, and print copies for team use.
What You Can and Can't Do
Keep your account details safe; you're responsible for all activity on your account.
Don't try to reverse-engineer our materials. You can't sell them, give them away, or let someone else use your licence.
If you want to use our materials at company events, conferences or keynotes - contact us. This is only on a case by case basis. But we normally say yes.
Intellectual Property
We own the materials. When you modify them for your use, remember, the original materials are still ours.
Promises and Limits
We promise that we have the right to offer these materials to you. However, we can't guarantee they'll work for every project or need you might have. Use them wisely and at your own risk.
If something goes wrong because you used our materials, our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for the licence during that period. We're not liable for big losses or unexpected expenses.
Ending the Licence
You can stop using the materials and end this licence anytime. If you don't follow this agreement, we might have to end it from our side. If that happens, you'll need to stop using and delete all the materials you have.
Registered Trademark Use
Who’s Eligible?
If you’ve completed the Behaviour Thinking Level One Qualification, congratulations! You’re eligible to use our registered trademark "Behaviour Thinking®" in your professional activities.
What Can You Do?
You’re allowed to include the "Behaviour Thinking®" trademark in your educational materials, presentations, and promotional content that relate to your expertise in behavioural insights / behavioural science x creativity within design, business consultancy and research. This licence is valid across the globe and remains in effect for three years. Don’t forget, you can renew it once it’s up!
Licensees are granted the non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the "Behaviour Thinking" trademark in accordance with the following terms:
Scope: The trademark may be used in connection with the educational materials, presentations, and promotional content that relate specifically to the services and products provided under this Agreement.
Duration: The right to use the trademark is granted for the duration of this Agreement and is subject to renewal upon its expiration.
Restrictions: The trademark must not be used in any manner that is deceptive or disparaging to Behav Ltd, BehaviourKit or its products, or in any way that misrepresents the relationship between the licensee and Behav Ltd.
Quality Control: Use of the trademark must comply with the standards set by Behav Ltd and must maintain the quality of the services and products associated with the trademark.
Attribution: All uses of the "Behaviour Thinking" trademark must be accompanied by the appropriate ® symbol to indicate its registered status.
Keep It Proper
We ask that you use the trademark in a way that reflects the high standards of the qualification. Please don’t use it to endorse other products or services without checking in with us first. We like to keep things consistent and true to our brand’s integrity.
Stay on Track
Each year, we’d like to see how you’re using the trademark. Just a few examples will do. This helps us ensure that everyone is using the "Behaviour Thinking®" name in the best way possible.
Renewing and Moving On
Keeping your licence active is simple—continue to apply what you’ve learned and stay engaged with the latest practices in the field. If you need to renew, show us you’re still using the trademark wisely. However, if the terms are breached, we may need to end the licence, which means you’ll need to stop using the trademark.
Changes to this Agreement
We might update this agreement now and then. We'll let you know when we do, either through our site or an email.
Legal Stuff
This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. If we have a disagreement, we'll sort it out in the courts of the United Kingdom.
